Intel 12th generation Core i3 evaluation released: 10nm 4-core small steel gun without rivals
A few days ago, the reviewer enthusiastic citizen Stroke Monster released the evaluation of the 12th-generation Core i3 12100 and 12300. The results show that the new generation of i3 has almost no rival in the current quad-core products.
First look at the parameters, i3-12100, 12300 are both 10nm ESF process, 4 cores and 8 threads, the former is up to 4.3GHz, the latter is up to 4.4GHz, 12MB L3 cache can be described as a huge improvement, TDP is only 60W.
In Cinebench R20, i3-12100 single-core 645, multi-core 3276, i3-12300 single-core 664, multi-core 3334, there is little difference. For comparison, AMD 4-core APU R3 5350G single-core 531, multi-core 2638.
In the AIDA64 baking machine test, i3-12100 power consumption 61.2W, i3-12300 power consumption 64.1W, not as low as AMD R3 5350G (44.8W). But in terms of baking machine temperature, Intel's 12th-generation i3 performed better at 61 degrees and 62 degrees, and AMD R3 5350G was 68 degrees.
In the game test with RX 6800XT, the 12th generation i3 showed great advantages. In "CS: GO", the i3-12300 can reach 2K 350fps, while the AMD R3 5350G is less than 2K 300fps. In "Far Cry 6", the i3-12300 can reach 2K 125fps, while the R3 5350G is 84fps.
