LibreOffice 7.3 RC1 can be used to test this open source office suite
LibreOffice 7.3 will be released in early February, and to ensure that it becomes another successful feature release of this open source office suite, LibreOffice 7.3 RC1 was released today for some good holiday tests. Less than a month after the release of the LibreOffice 7.3 beta, the first release candidate was released on Monday. Since the last Beta milestone, nearly 250 commits have been made and more than 100 issues have been fixed. LibreOffice 7.3 introduces support for hyperlinks attached to shapes in Writer, Writer better tracks and indicates changes to text, various performance improvements, Bash-like auto-completion for Calc spreadsheets, and new bullet mode editing functions etc. As usual, LibreOffice 7.3 has made many import/export improvements to its Microsoft Office DOC, DOCX, XLSX and PPTX file format handling.
